A common understanding is established in Bangladesh, ‘women’s position are in the kitchen’ that means women have to serve mostly for household works. But it is quite impossible to develop the family, nation, or country without involving of the women in the development process. Considering the fact that the need for education is mandatory for these indigenous people, particularly for the girl children SHED Board established girls’ hostel in Dinajpur in 1996. The purpose of the hostel is to impart education to the orphan girls of the tribal communities providing their basic needs and nurturing them in an environment where their potentials find ways to express and bloom towards a better life..
